Goal: Find the 2–3 highest-impact improvements on a live listing and apply them quickly. Time: 5–7 minutes
What the ASIN Report shows
The ASIN Report gives you a quick Grade for overall health and a prioritized list of Top Fixes. It also highlights coverage (where important phrases appear or are missing) and common compliance/quality issues. You’ll use it to decide what to fix first, then jump straight into an improved draft.
Step 1 — Run the report
Go to My Reports → New ASIN Report, paste your ASIN, and click Run. When it’s ready, open it. The Grade at the top is your snapshot; don’t chase the grade itself—use it to gauge effort.
Step 2 — Read Top Fixes like a to-do list
Scroll to Top Fixes. These are sorted by impact so you don’t waste time. Typical items include:
- Missing root keyword in Title
- Weak or generic Feature 1
- Empty or low-signal Backend
- Over limit or under-informative Title/Features
Open each fix to see exactly what’s missing and where. This removes guesswork.
Step 3 — Take action directly from the report
You have two fast paths:
- Optimize Listing to generate a new, improved draft (recommended for speed).
- Or Open in Editor to adjust TFSD manually if you already know what you want.
If your Brand profile is set (voice, audience, avoid-words), the optimized draft will follow it.
Step 4 — Apply and validate
After you make changes (via Optimize or manual edits), refresh the report or rerun it to confirm coverage and readability improved. Focus on real buyer clarity, not just lighting up indicators.
When to stop
If the Title has the primary phrase early, Feature 1 sells a clear result with proof, and Backend covers the leftover single words within limits, you’ve likely captured the bulk of the upside. Move on.
Common pitfalls
- Fixating on tiny suggestions instead of top wins.
- Forcing awkward phrasing to “turn Green” everywhere (hurts conversion).
- Ignoring market limits (characters vs bytes for JP) and having to rewrite at export.
