Where ranks come from ▾
The tool calls Amazon's keyword search results via SellerApp's SERP API. We scan the first 50 organic results for your ASIN and return the position if found, or "not in top 50" otherwise. Cached 24 hours per (ASIN, keyword, marketplace) so identical queries don't re-hit the API.
What this answers: "where am I ranking right now?" It does not answer "is this changing?" or "how do I improve it?" Those are SaaS and Deep Audit territory respectively.
Common questions
How does this differ from a continuous rank tracker? ▾
This is a one-shot check — input ASIN + keyword, see your current SERP position. A continuous tracker (like the Keywords.am SaaS at app.keywords.am) records rank daily across many keywords, charts trends, and alerts on movement. The free tool answers 'where am I right now?' The paid tracker answers 'how is this changing?'
Why is there a 1-check-per-day limit? ▾

Why does my listing show "not in top 50"? ▾
Either the listing ranks past position 50 on Amazon, or it isn't indexed for that exact keyword phrase at all. The free tool only scans the first SERP page. The Deep Audit traces non-indexing back to specific listing-copy fixes (often a missing keyword in title or backend).
Does the tool count sponsored placements? ▾
No. The rank shown is the organic position. Sponsored slots are returned by the API but excluded from the rank number — the same way Amazon's search results page distinguishes them.
