How to read this data

The keyword list shows what SellerApp considers the strongest indexed terms for the ASIN. Use it to:

  • Find your competitor's wins. Look at the top 10 by search volume to see what's driving their traffic.
  • Find your own gaps. If you sell a similar product, run your ASIN and compare. Missing keywords = missing real estate in your listing copy.
  • Spot intent shifts. Long-tail variants in the list (e.g. "for kids," "with case," "USB-C") tell you what shoppers are pairing with the head term.

What this tool doesn't do: rank-track, score against your listing copy, or build the prescription. Those are SaaS and Deep Audit jobs.

Common questions

What is a reverse ASIN lookup?

Reverse ASIN means: given an Amazon product's ASIN, return the keywords that product ranks for. It's the inverse of normal keyword research (where you start with a keyword and find products). Sellers use it to understand what's working for competitors and where the gaps are in their own keyword coverage.

Why only US/UK/CA/IN?

SellerApp's underlying keyword research API supports those four marketplaces in v1. Other marketplaces (DE, JP, etc.) are not currently exposed. We chose v1 over v2 beta because v2 has been intermittently returning errors as of mid-2026.

How accurate is the search volume data?

The numbers come from SellerApp's aggregated Amazon search data. Treat them as directional rather than exact: useful for comparing relative search demand between two keywords, less useful for forecasting absolute traffic. Volumes are returned as either a number or a string like "<100" for very low-volume terms.

Why is the lookup capped at 1 per day?

Each lookup hits the live SellerApp API which is metered. The cap keeps the tool free without burning the budget. The Deep Audit ($99) includes unlimited reverse-ASIN lookups for the audited ASIN as part of the pipeline, plus competitor lookups and keyword-presence scoring against your listing copy.
